Busy Busy Busy...

it's been a quick minute since i last wrote!

just a few things happening since then (:

the weekend trip out of town was a success!

david had a ball playing w/his greatgrandparents

&they loved having him there to visit <3

on the downside bubba's ears have been bothering him

for a few weeks now so we finally got to the pedi..

so now he's on amoxicillin wh/i'm not 100%

sure is even working :/

hubby also got sick this last weekend so luckily

he's doing much better (: he's on amoxicillin too!

apparently docs love prescribing that stuff..

got a big event this weekend me &hubby are

gonna do some photography for so that should be plenty fun (:

also both overdue for some haircuts :P

todayyy we're going to go buy a new carseat

&i'm super excited! :D sad when i'm more excited to buy

baby stuff than grown up stuff lol..

also on the david front he issss

all over the house crawling, grabs stuff and pulls to standing

on anything he gets a chance, he's apparently scared of flowers.. :P

everytime i try to get him to touch them he grimaces

&pushes away like they're poison.. lol. typical boy.

i got to see an old friend from forever ago &david lovedddd

her.. he was a little flirt! he is also talking up a stormmm

its mostly bababaa and yayayaya but when he's

upset it sounds like he's trying for momma :D

and even dadada so it's still pretty up in the air

what his first word will be lol..

i mean mine was bath so :/ ya never know.. lol

All Business

as i mentioned in a prior post

hubby has started his new job

and loves it so far (:

he works with good people, gets plenty of overtime

which means a better check for the family, has a nice boss

&gets to work with cars which he always enjoys.

here around the house David has started scooting/crawling

all over the place &i couldn't be prouder :D

which is also a nice reminder that i need to jump

on gettting shelves to put everything up on out of reach!

he also yesterday started pulling himself

up to stand up! right before falling over along w/his legos :P

he's trying &doing so many new things

we can hardly keep up! but it makes us so happy

as new parents to watch him grow up (:

on a side note i've been looking into ways to make money from

home &have found a few little ideas that tickle

my fancy so we'll see where all that goes!

hubby &i are making a trip

to east texas to visit some family

this weekend &we're considering it as a much needed

mini-vacation :D

Life Here Lately :)

the other day i slipped &fell in HEB. THIS time it was not my

bad footing or not paying attention! it was my god-forsaken flip flops

from old navy(no tread &slick bottom!) that have failed me before,

&an invisible small puddle of water on gray concrete floors.. >:(

i had to give them all my info &sit at the deli department tables w/an ice pack

on my knee &my makeup running all over my face.

:/ it was awesome..

so now i have a back that pinches up when i bend over,

a purple and blue scratched/road-rashed knee that hurts to walk on

&am currently waiting for monday to roll around so i can talk to

some lady about compensation for their floor jacking me up.

i would have been happy with the koolaid jammers i was walking to get..

>>> on a more positive note we finally "deep-cleaned/spring-cleaned" out apartment

thank god cause it was well over due! i was going to take

before and after pics it was that bad :/ lol. mostly just clutter

but alott of clutter goes a long way.

as well as better control of his hands which has

resulted in my remote control being covered in drool

and my phone being the favorite item of the week. :P

he's also trying to crawl!

he can push his chest up off the ground

and pull his knees underneath him but won't keep his head

up to see where he's going lol. once he figures

out the little details that boy will be gone w/the wind!

we've gotten used to daddy being home everyday!

now i have to relearn how to shower while david takes a morning nap

and clean during every other nap. easier said than done..

he used to take 1-2 hours naps now its 30 mins at a time

to a T. it's ridiculously accurate we've timed him. o_o

^^^this in turn makes me want to find SOME WAYY to make a little extra

money maybe working from home for now ?

we shall see (:

Family Photos!

as i mentioned the other day mom's been wanting

some updated family photos so we went today &David did

so good! wasn't till the end that he started getting mad

due to a wet diaper &having been there forever :P

not too shabby (:

the photographers had a ball trying to make everyone

laugh, succeeding more with us than David :P

(glad they did cause me, like most of my familia

don't like smiling WITH TEETH!)

but this is after i edited them at home,

Life Here Lately :)

not much new going on, cept my little man

getting bigger by the day it seems ): as usual he's my favorite

subject for pictures so expect an abundance of sweetness!

aside from obssessive picture taking, we will be getting our

own taken soon with my mom, stepdad &the kiddos

FAMILY PICTURES :D which the last time we got

em done we were all super tan and had baby faces, so it should

be interesting to see how much we've all changed.

PLUSS David can basically sit up on his own now so it's

primetime for photo ops as far as this momma's concerned

also on the agenda for the next few weeks..

we will be attending a friend of mine from highschool's

little girl's bday party whom i've yet to meet, &they haven't

met handsome yet either!

David will be 6 months old soon!

&&to celebrate the occasion has a pediatrician's appt

which he's oblivious to &i can't forget because

he'll be getting another set of shots >:(

breaks mommy's heart more than his, tough little guy..

other than those events not much planned for august thus far..

course ya never know (:

today a close friend of mine &our boys decided to make

a trip to Hermann Park wanted to get some pics taken

&maybee, dare i say it, some exercise!

we only got a few pics since we were interupted by lovely RAIN

but they were cute anyway (:

then we were surprised by sprinkling rain and right as amanda said

"i think the rain feels good with it being so hot" it started raining harder

&by the time we ran back across the park and into the parking

lot 2babies &2strollers in tote we were soaked, in stitches from

laughing and the boys were looking @us like we were nuts..

good looking gals ehh? :D
