Family Lunch :D

Today we decided to take a little family trip to Houston &get some lunch

at our FAVORITEE diner >> 59 Diner <3

Of course as usual while we were trying to find it we managed to get

lost among the 1-way streets of Houston

(I despisee 1-way streets btw)

BUT we did see some very pretty trees &houses &David got in

a mini nap while we searched high &low!

Galveston Trip :D

This little family has needed a mini-vacation for a long while

coming so today we went on down to Galveston to get some yummy

SEAFOOOOD <3

Joe's Crabshack was calling our name &we couldn't help ourselves :D

Of course we couldn't go to Galveston and NOTT go

to the beach so we went walking and playing in the sand for a bit.

David loveddd it. :)

Kid hates grass but loves the sand

and even the cold water. Go figure.. :P

Then we collected seashells, walked on the jetties, took some pictures of course,

&played in the water so David could enjoy the mud lol. :))

Then took a very sandy boy down the road to Ben &Jerrys for ICECREAMMM!

Daddy got chocolate, Mommy&Bubba shared "Fish Food" icecream which

was like Rocky Road but no nuts &the chocolate was chocolate

fudge FISH. Who could ask for more?! Lol.

So after filling our tummies with fries &fish, icecream fish, and romping in the sand

we headed home to give a very tired baby a good bath. <3

Valentine's Day <3 <3 <3

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!! <3

First thing this morning I woke up to this oh so handsome face XD

My son is so charming it cracks me up.. :P

He had some messy breakfast/lunch ^^^

We didn't do much today considering none of us were feeling quite ourselves..

But every time that happens we have the excuse to stay in and spend time as

a family which is perfect for any holiday! So that's ok :)

Of course I had to get some pics of little man which didn't extend much

further than our living room and porch but that's ok too cause it was pretty outside

and David just wanted to play with his fire truck outside anyway!

So assss usual I was too busy having fun &playing hostess to take pictures.. :(

HOPEFULLY I'll be more prepared next year!

Dear David Conrad,

     A year ago today @9:30 PM, I gave birth to a beautiful 7 lb 1.2 oz 19 in baby boy..

We'd been waiting months for him to get here,

&when he did we couldn't have been happier and more blessed than in that moment.

We changed in a split second from a regular couple,

to a Mommy &Daddy that would move the Earth to make sure

he was safe and loved and got everything he needed in this world.

     That baby boy was you. :)

You came into our lives just when we needed you the most

and have completed this little family we started.

It's been only a year but I don't know where we'd be without you sweet baby.

We thank God everyday that he made you just for us.

 Even at one year's old you are already so smart, funny, sweet, and loving

and we can't wait to see what good you bring to this world.

You will do great things and I promise we'll be there every step of the way.

We are already so proud of you. <3

So today's your day big boy!

No time to say hello, goodbye I'm late I'm late I'm late!

My goodness friends I am so sorry I've been MIA for a long while now! :P Not only did MY laptop finally give out(the screen could never stay up on its own, then the screen went &stayed black); but Hubby's Mac's battery decided to up &die one day &also never turn back on. >:( So for now my nice father-in-law lent me his laptop!

Terrible considering ALLL of my pics are on both of them. So yes my posts from Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, &everything else in between are also MIA, just for now I hope.

But just a quick update minus pics:

All the holidays with Jon, David, &myself being our firsts w/baby boy were amazing naturally. (:

~Halloween was my 22nd birthday! I celebrated by trick-or-treating for David's 1st Halloween, he was Winnie The Pooh! Cutest little Pooh we'd ever seen! He seemed to like visiting everyone's doors to say hello :P He didn't really get tired till there at the end of course by then it was time to head home anyway.

~Thanksgiving had wrenches thrown into it as David had a high fever we couldn't get down and was crying inconsolably so we only got to visit w/one house of relatives! Had to take the poor baby to the hospital &spend the rest of our Thanksgiving day there just hoping he'd feel better. :( Turned out to be another annoying ear infection. >:( Darn those things!

~Christmas was good also: went to see the Festival of Lights, picked out a live tree, bought our own decorations for it &a pretty tree skirt.

We didn't get to take a picture with Santa as we were super late in December for it &just broke my heart since we won't have that picture for later years to look back on.. :( But on the plus side we had a nice Christmas as a family &did get sweet pictures for the rest of the time. :)

~New Years we spent at home counting down as the ball dropped in Times Square on TV w/ordered-in pizza &the munchkin getting to stay up and play late for a change!

I'd like to point out that only in Texas is it hot during basically all these Holidays!

Even a couple days in January so far have been shorts kinda days.

Business has yet to be started as I'm back on my own, granted I like it better that way. (: Less drama when I don't have to share my business decisions with anyone but ME. So still working out the kinks, but since it's a new year with a fresh start I figure it's now or never to get started!

On a side note keeping myself busy planning David's 1st birthday coming here in February! Considering how big even just my immediate family is, I'm having trouble finding a place to have it.. >:( Our place just isn't big enough! So much for keeping his 1st bday small.. :/ I'm also considering making homemade pizza like I have before! But I'll probably make a whole different post for David's bday planning just to keep track of it all as I go along. (:

Anywhooo that's it for now, hopefully soon we can get our computers back up and running &I can share our holiday pictures with you! Till then (:
